James W. Knox, CLU, ChFC*

A native of Richmond Hill, New York, Mr. Knox received his college degree at the John Jay College of the City University of New York. He began his career as an insurance and financial representative by joining New England Life in 1976. In 1978, Jim established Knox Associates as an independent consulting firm specializing in estate planning and employee benefit plans serving over 1200 clients.
On 1/1/95, Knox Associates was merged into the Creative Financial Partners, LLC as Jim was appointed Managing Partner for New England Financial’s New York City firm. Creative Financial Partners maintained offices in New York City, Garden City and Tarrytown, New York, with over 100 associates. The firm won many national awards during Jim’s 9 years as Managing Partner.
In 2003, Jim decided to return full-time to working with individuals and business owners on their financial needs and joined Life Planning Group as a partner in the firm.
Jim specializes in value based estate planning, business succession planning, employee benefit plans, life insurance, and 401 (k) plans.
Jim is dedicated to providing the best possible information, ideas, and financial tools to his clients. He continually attends conferences, seminars, and educational opportunities to expand his intellectual capital.
Joseph P. McMahon
A native of Levittown, New York, Joe received his college degree at Hofstra University. He began his career as an insurance representative by joining Life Planning Group in 2005.
Prior to joining Life Planning Group, Joe was Head Equipment Manager of the New York Islanders in the National Hockey League for 19 seasons. Joe also was the Head Equipment Manager of Team USA in 1999 for the World Championships in Oslo, Norway. From 1992 to 1996, Joe also worked with the New York Jets equipment staff during their training camps.

A native of Melville, New York, Jonathan received his B.A. from Molloy College in 2003. Jonathan began his career in the financial services industry working as a policyholder services representative at the New England Financial Knox Agency. Jonathan began his career as a financial advisor in 2006 when he joined Life Planning Group. Jonathan specializes in value based financial planning and the use of life insurance, disability insurance, long term care insurance and investments to help accomplish family and business objectives.
Since 2010, Jonathan has been an advocate for Vison2020 and Worth for Women. Vision 2020 is a decade long national initiative to promote gender equality while Worth for Women s a women's financial empowerment program designed by Penn Mutual - the presenting sponsor of Vision 2020.

Pam is a graduate of Immaculata College of Washington D.C. She has been married to her husband, Bill, for 42 year. Pam has four grown children, Thomas, Bryan, Lindsay and Gregory.
Prior to joining Life Planning Group in 2004 as the Office Manager for Jim Knox and his associates, Pam was the Operations Manager for Creative Financial Partners in Garden City, NY.
She enjoys spending time with her family and grandchildren), gardening and reading.
Lisa A. Dall'Acqua, MBA
Lisa joined Life Planning Group in 2013 with over 20 years of marketing experience. Throughout her extensive career, Lisa has developed a variety of skills and marketing expertise. She creates opportunities that drive revenue, not only for Life Planning Group, but also for individual financial advisors. Lisa’s business foundation and creative eye allow her to utilize many different avenues to fulfill responsibilities including networking, strategic alliances, target market strategies, community outreach, professional seminars, new business development, advertising/PR, and media relations.
Prior to working with Life Planning Group, Lisa has held several leadership positions, including Director of Marketing, recruiting and Training with National Life of Vermont, and Regional Recruiting Director with Grey Stone Staffing.
Lisa earned a Bachelor of the Arts degree in Marketing from Adelphi University in 1982, and a Master’s of Business Administration in Marketing/Finance in 2009. She was also the recipient of an Outstanding Award for Team Leader and Marketing Director of National Life of Vermont in both 2010 and 2011.
Residing in Long Beach, NY, Lisa is involved with her local community as volunteer of St. Paul’s Church in New York City, and a member of the National Women’s Association and the Long Island Association (LIA). Lisa is the mother of two adult children, Zachary and Lyndsey.
